Our history

Moneris was created as a joint investment between RBC Financial Group and BMO Financial Group (including Chicago-based Harris Bank) in December 2000. By maintaining the tradition of security, stability and strength of our parent banks, today Moneris is one of North America's largest processors of debit and credit card transactions for businesses of all sizes.
